Kinoko 2010 - 2012

My entry for dA's 'draw this again' contest

This was a picture made all the way back in 2010. I've always liked it, and really wanted to draw it again for the contest. The girl is one of my OC's, who very rarely gets drawn (as in, 2011 was the last time), called 'Kinoko' (I think it means mushroom)

The things I improved:

The dress; it was based off a kimono, and I decided to redesign the dress so the sleeves look more 'kimono-ish'
The background: Because grass is such a dog to colour! The last picture is more summery (lots of blue and green), but I thought the red-brown warmer colours would look nicer, and possibly make her stand out more. I think I achieved that? (plus it's Autumn over here now, so I'm in an Autumn-y mood)

Manga Studio did not like this template at all; had to go back to photoshop to put the pictures in the frame! (I also had to narrow the gaps so my pictures would fit. I'm sorry if that's against the rules, but it was the only way to do it)
