Check Mate

Yay! All done!

I was in another one of those 'weird moods' and wanted to draw another 'Dimentio Domination' pictures.

Ok, so since I drew the 'playing all the right cards' picture and I got a message from someone saying that we'd done practically the same picture (with the differences being that I had SPM characters on the cards and they were tarot cards instead of playing cards), I felt really bad (in fact, I feel quite lucky I'd not been accused of art theft!)

So I did something that I'm hoping no one else has done yet, or they've done a very different version of.

So, the pieces are: Bleck is the King, Nastasia is the Queen, Mimi is a knight (or a horse, depending on how you look at it), O'Chunks is a rook (or Tower), Mr.L is a bishop, and I think Mario is......I don't know. But I looked back on it and realised that I'd made him a pawn (so he could take Nastasia by going diagonally) which isn't good, since they're the lowest pieces you can get...

Yeah, you've really gotta understand the rules of chess to understand the pieces...

Oh, and I am aware that there is a Super Mario chess set for about £50 on Argos, but I have no money for it. but it's damn awesome!

P.S. The throne that Dimentio is sitting on? That was inspired by a piece from another deviant. I keep going back tot hat particular picture because I think it's so good. So I had to reference it. Have a look in my faves for Dimentio art, and I'm sure you'll know which one I mean!
